Painting Our Florida Waters, a presentation by Artist Christopher Still and Oceanographer Dr. Randy Runnels who have synthesized the best of art and science to depict Florida’s unique marine and fresh water environment. Still’s paintings will be on display until May 31st. Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center.

CGCAS Annual Picnic at Boyd Hill Nature Park in St. Petersburg. Frank Bushnell will attend the picnic and provide an oral history of early Pinellas archaeology including activities of Frank, Dr. Lyman Warren and Dr. Al Goodyear. Jeff Moates, the new Director of WC FPAN at USF, will join the discussion by Hermann Trappman about the potential site on the shoreline of Lake Maggiore.
